Soluna is built to be private by default. This policy explains what that means in practice — and, more importantly, what we don't do with your information.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information. Soluna does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, phone number, or location. We do not maintain user profiles, and we have no server-side database of your information because we never receive it in the first place.
2. Your health and sleep data
Soluna works with sleep and related health data that already lives in Apple Health (HealthKit) on your device. When you grant permission, Soluna reads only the specific data types you approve — such as sleep, and where available, heart rate or related signals — and uses them to calculate your sleep debt, energy curve, and schedule.
- All of this processing happens on your device.
- Your health data is never transmitted to Soluna's servers (we don't operate one for your data) or to any third party.
- We never use health data for advertising or marketing, and we never sell it.
- You can review or revoke Soluna's access at any time in the iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health screen.
Data obtained through HealthKit is handled in accordance with Apple's HealthKit requirements. Soluna uses it solely to provide features inside the app, on your device.
3. Analytics and tracking
Soluna contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no cross-app tracking. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and Soluna does not ask to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
4. Cookies and the website
This website is a simple, static informational page. It does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not run third-party trackers. If you choose to download the app, the App Store handles that download under Apple's own privacy policy.
5. Data storage and security
Because Soluna keeps your information on your device, your data is protected by your device's built-in security, including your passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and Apple's data protection. Deleting the app removes Soluna's local data. (Data you've stored in Apple Health is governed by Apple Health and is not removed by deleting Soluna.)
6. Children's privacy
Soluna is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — including children. Since Soluna collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to inadvertently gather.
7. Your rights and choices
Privacy regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a company holds about you. Soluna does not hold any personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to retrieve, export, or erase. You remain fully in control of the on-device information through your device settings and Apple Health.
8. Changes to this policy
If we ever change how Soluna handles information, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. If a future version of the app introduces any feature that would collect data, we will describe it clearly here and ask for your consent before it takes effect.
